Review from Tommy Tynan The Cory Band 2023 “Player of the Year”.

When I took the opportunity and time to try the Randefalk R3X with 8.0 shank I was completely sold on it. Firstly, it’s a beautiful mouthpiece and looks amazing. The cup design allows for a really free blowing experience, freedom across the range and gives the player total control over what goes into and out of the instrument.

Although it looks quite sharp on the edges, the design of the rim is actually comfortable and stable, provides good grip and great flexibility. It’s a punchy mouthpiece and built differently to the common brass band staples I´ve played, but if you get to know it over a longer period of time, it can become a game changer for playing as it did for me. The best thing about it, though, is the fact the mouthpiece is its own entity.

The Randefalk range really is an authentic product, which i feel is rare in the current market.
