Small changes on the upgraded R3S and R4 for more supported rims and the throat has been reduced to 7.2 mm. This is to help the high register but keep the open sound. Randefalk mouthpieces are V and U shaped at the same time. It’s a gliding transition to a small cone in the throat. They are now made in a heavy copper brass with PVD plating.
