THE NEW RT-SERIES for Trombone and Euphonium
We have now upgraded the range of models for Trombone and Euphonium. These are made in two parts, top and shank. The weight is still balanced and centered on the top (cup). This new RT- model have an inside of the cup that is more U-shaped and slightly more shallow in depth than the R-series. This is to help high register and focus sound, also to create more resistance for better control on airflow. Sonorous and brilliant sounds coming your way.
As described down below, you have standard shanks for each size of mouthpiece.
You can also buy different sizes of shanks to fit your need, but keep your favorite top (rim and cup). The options on shanks are, 7.0, 7.2, 7.4 or 7.6mm throat size.
For baritone and small bore trombone the shanks are only available in 7.0mm size but with long and short shank. Please have a look at Baritone and small shank trombone for more details.
These cups are only available in a new, thicker Gold plating at the moment but the shanks are only in Deep silver.
Randefalk mouthpieces are still V and U shaped at the same time with a gliding transition to a small cone in the throat. They are now made in a heavy copper brass with PVD plating.
You can also order all Randefalk Mouthpieces with a synthetic Diamond coating. Please send message for more details and prices regarding this.
